SecoGear Metal Clad Switchgear (IEC)
SecoGear Metal Clad Switchgear (IEC) is in the GEIS medium-voltage switchgear range.
SecoGear PV is metal-clad medium-voltage switchgear for utility, industrial, and building applications. It is designed, assembled, and tested to IEC 62271-200, with grounded metal barriers that segregate primary functions so no live parts are exposed. Safety interlocks, closed-door racking, a breaker position indicator, and positively actuated shutters are standard. The 40.5 kV configuration uses the SecoVac embedded-pole vacuum circuit breaker and is rated 630–3150 A, 50/60 Hz, with short-time withstand of 25 / 31.5 / 40 kA (3 s) and panel ingress protection of IP4X (compartment IP2X). It is used for safe switching and protection of cables, transformers, capacitors, motors, and other MV equipment.
